This year Ladies Formal, in aid of Myton Hospice, took place on Saturday 21st November 2015 at Coombe Abbey Hotel, where we raised around £1,500.
Over 90 members and their guests sat down for a splendid meal followed by speeches, a little magic, a charity auction and dancing into the wee small hours. Many of those present stopped the night before heading out for a brisk three mile walk around the grounds to shed the ‘full English’ breakfast and some of the previous night excesses.
We were so impressed with the accommodation, especially Pauls’ suite of rooms with amazing four poster bed, wet room and staircase, that I have a feeling the Lodge of Unity may return. Watch this space…
