So as the first challenge of the year approaches (before the year has even started!) the Past Masters supper is less than a day away and I’ve spent the evening thinking about the three important elements for next year, they are firstly the officers of the lodge, most are sorted, but there are a couple that may prove contentious, the second challenge is the year ahead, planning the eight meetings for next year, with some being easier to sort out than others, finally my charity for the year and how we are going to raise a bit of money.
I’ve selected what I believe to be a really good cause for next year and I’m hoping we make a lot of money to help them in their work, more about that tomorrow – as long as the past masters approve!
