One of our brother made the winning bid for VIP tickets to see Wasps V Toulouse.

“I report back from a cracking afternoon’s entertainment at the Richo Arena Coventry Saturday 9th December. Bro Cherub and I were warmly welcomed and shown to our table which looked directly out onto the stunning pitch. Incidentally Bro Cherub, from his book of ‘interesting facts’, informed me that the pitch now consists of 3% artificial grass…

We indulged Ales by Purity, specifically ‘Ubu’ and ‘Mad Goose’, Mmmmmmmmm and had a wonderful two course lunch which gloriously included perfectly roasted medium rare top side of beef, yorkie puds and all the trimmings….  This was all in the fabulous company of our donating Brothers friends and colleagues… To top it off we were in the smug knowledge that we were present in the name of charity and with the blessing of our brothers of Unity 567.

You may have been aware that the weather was precipitating furiously, this didn’t stop a furious clash between two Rugby Giants separated by a stretch of water and 116 years of conflict and some general manners… Both Wasps and Toulouse at times edged toward a winning scoreline, however Wasps encouragingly played a more open style of rugby which unfortunately played to the French strengths leading to Wasps having their rears shown to them…

Wasps 17 – 14 Toulouse. This didn’t detract from a spirited and exciting game of Rugby…”
